Where did I start?
Well, to keep it brief - I have always enjoyed needlepoint, embroidery, knitting and crochet. I put them all on hold whilst I studied music at uni, then worked in music publishing.
I met my husband, had two children and started a baby hand/foot casting keepsake business - and then one day, I decided I needed to pick up the needles again!

I started out knitting baby items, then taught myself to crochet a few years ago. That led on to making amigurumi, which I have to say is my most favourite thing in the whole world! I love the endless possibilities it creates, the shapes and characters that come leaping off the hook!

My ultimate goal is to make you laugh and squeal (even scream!) when you receive one of my creations. Life can be busy and stressful, and I believe we all need to stop and have fun once in a while - if that means having a cuddly Yoda on your workdesk, then so be it!
My favourite moment was at a local craft fair, and a lady picked up a knitted monster, wiggled it about and said "Rrrraaaahhh!!". Then she looked at me and said " I don't know why I did that, but I just felt I HAD to!". You see, sometimes my characters choose YOU, and not the other way round!!

I've always been a stickler for detail, and this carries across into my crochet work too - any tiny imperfections drive me mad. So you can be assured that all my items are made to the best of my ability. Any sloppy stitching just doesn't get past my perfectionism!
